The wonderful art blog "Lost at E Minor" has a feature about my "Nighttime" photo series. New photos and an interview can be found here. Thanks Alison!

"At Sea" images now online in the portfolio section. This is part of a new series I am working on that is best viewed while listening to Woodie Guthrie's "What Did the Deep Sea Say?" I also started scuba diving since beginning this project.

For the past year or so, I've been lucky enough to be part of Platon's Forum for young photo talent. The lovely Miki Johnson of American Photo wrote a great article about us with examples of each of our work on their online blog Pop Photo.

Platon's Nutopia Forum website also showcases my New Orleans work in issue # 2 of their online magazine. This issue can be viewed here.

Went to the Magnum Portfolio Review. Alec Soth, Trent Parke, and Susan Meiselas were my reviewers, and they were all incredibly generous and wonderful. Special thanks to Alec for linking me on his blog.

"Engulfed by Katrina", a traveling photo exhibition featuring some of my photos from New Orleans, is now on display at the African American Museum in Philadelphia from May 11 - August 5, 2007. More info can be found on their website: http://aampmuseum.org

Back from Woodstock...the opening was great- thanks again to Ariel, Kate, and the CPW staff for inviting me up and putting together such a lovely show. (And thank you Michael for keeping me company.)

The Poughkeepsie Journal interviewed me for an article about "Kiss & Tell".
You can read the article here.

This Saturday 1/20/07 is the opening reception for my next show "Kiss & Tell" at the Center for Photography at Woodstock from 5-7pm. It's a bit out of town for my fellow Brooklynites, but if it is good enough for Levon Helm, it is good enough for me.
Hope to see you there!

More info on the show at Center of Photography at Woodstock's website.

Check out my interview for Jen Bekman's Hey Hot Shots blog that you can read here.

At long last, some photos from my last trip to Memphis are online in the portfolio section...more to come. Pinky swear this time. Seriously.

And on an unrelated note, I'm listening to Paul Westerberg's "Born for Me" for the first time in a couple years. That's a damn fine song.

It's that time again: Please join me at Slideluck Potshow this Saturday Nov. 18th for an evening of food, drinks, and photos. I'll be showing a mini-project about soul music featuring photos from Memphis and live photos of NY-based band Sonny Oaks.

Hi all...due to a clumsy accident on my part, I'm currently recovering from a nasty cut and tendon surgery on my foot. In the meantime, enjoy the photos I took of the band Sonny Oaks at Cake Shop in the Lower East Side a few weeks back. A link to the band's myspace site is now on my links page.

Please join me at Slideluck Potshow, an evening of food, drinks, and photos. The theme of this month's slideshow is "grace" and my photograph will be featured in the show.
